Triathlon 2012

This crazy crew completed our 2012 triathlon in August.  We chose Bella Vista this year, thinking how nice it would be to not have to travel (we did Dallas last year).  What we did NOT take into consideration were the INSANE elevation changes that beautiful Bella Vista has to offer! HA!

We all completed the course, which was our ultimate "goal".  My personal goal was to cross the finish line in less than 2 hours, and I made that by less than a minute--seriously!  Jerry beat me by 49 seconds--UGH!  I'll get him next year :)  No seriously, I'm so proud of all 4 of us.  It was a very difficult course, and we all pushed each other through the training.  Crazy Clint (to the far right) decided, trained for, and completed this triathlon in 3 weeks!  Very impressive.
Can't wait to see what the 2013 Triathlon schedule has in store for us.  We're hoping to do 2...... :)

Our weekend in pics

So, I finally joined the 21st century and got myself an iPhone.  I was waiting for the latest and greatest to come out so that I wouldn't somehow feel the need to upgrade it anytime soon.  So the iPhone 5 was released, I preordered it, and 1.5 weeks later I'm in love :)

Jerry headed to College Station to watch the Razorbacks play (?) football.  The kids and I headed to see Hotel Transylvania Friday afternoon.......super cute movie!
Jerry sent us this......his view!  EEK!
Treyson was ready to go at 9AM for College Gameday
Kids were very excited for us being ahead 10-7 (that was nice for the tiny moment it lasted!)

After the ballgame, the kids took a nap and then I gave T-Man a much needed haircut.  He was WAY overdue!

Then he put on his shoulder pads so they could play "Ants in The Pants".......wait, doesn't everybody wear shoulder pads when they play this game???
Ok, so I took my iPhone out and put it on camcorder mode because the kids were being so precious getting excited for the Hogs when we were driving rather quickly down the field.  I pushed record just in time to catch this.......sad, but kind of cute.  We are passionate about our Hogs people!
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Happy 4th Birthday Treyson!

We woke up The Bubster on his birthday with a birthday pancake and candle, while singing Happy Birthday!

So excited to be 4!!

....a new case and carrying bag for his LeapPad 2 that MaMa and PaPa got him :)

His first "real" baseball bat.  Let me tell you, this stinker can hit that baseball far when he swings this bat!

and some new t-balls
opening Anniston's gifts.  She wanted to get him a blue ball, and a sports shirt.
Here's the sports shirt--he wore it to school that day :)

She also got him a pack of gum--his favorite!!
Love, love, love these two!
Treyson,

Happy 4th Birthday sweet boy!  You are such an entertaining child :)  You love to test your limits, but usually make the right choices.  You haven't been getting any time-outs at school, and you're even taking your 2 hour naps daily!

You like to ask us to snuggle with you at night before bed, which amounts to us laying down next to you for a few minutes while you wrap your arms around us.  You have started saying your own prayers at night (versus "Now I lay me down to sleep..."), and it is just precious.

You love to sing in the car, and you also love to tell me which way I'm supposed to be turning to get you to school the fastest!

You are ALL BOY!  We get home from school, and you change into "sports clothes" and go out to the backyard to either kick the football around or play baseball.  You cannot stand hitting the ball off of a tee......this could present problems when we sign you up for "T-Ball" in a couple of years--HA!  You've been hitting pitches thrown by Mommy or Dadoo since you were 2, and you can really hit the ball far now with your new metal bat!  Your hand-eye coordination is insane!

You wear your football uniform (jersey, pants, shin guards, cleats, black stickers under eyes, and helmet) EVERY. SINGLE. SATURDAY as soon as you wake up.  You also come into Mommy and Dadoo's room on Saturday mornings to wake us up asking to turn on College Game Day on ESPN--You LOVE football!

We still have some work to do on listening skills and following directions the first time, but it is getting better over time :)  Every morning you wake up and do your "chores" (make your bed, brush your teeth, brush your hair, and get dressed), but it takes several reminders as you seem to get "sidetracked" with being silly.

We wouldn't change one thing about you though, Treyson.  You are our sweet T-Man, and we love you so very much!  There is never a dull moment with you around :)  We cannot wait to see what God's plans are for your future.

Love you the mosty wosty!
Love,  Mommy and Dadoo

Anniston and Treyson's birthday party!

I have been a total blog slacker.  I apologize.  Honestly, I haven't taken that many pictures lately!  We've been to tailgates, Branson, parties, etc....but I've decided to leave my camera at home and just enjoy being in the moment instead of stuck behind the camera waiting on the "perfect" picture.

We had a roller skating birthday party for Anniston and Treyson back in August.  Their birthdays are just 6 weeks apart, so we try to just do 1 big party for family to come to.  The kids were pumped to get to skate!

It was a fun day for everybody who was able to make it!  It is always great to have a fun reason to see family and friends!!
