6 Months!

TIME SLOW DOWN!

Oh my goodness, 6 months?  1/2 year?  Closer to 1 than her birth day?  This makes my Momma heart so incredibly heavy.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the new and amazing things Brecken does on a daily basis, but at the same time I am so sad that my baby girl is slipping out of "baby" status and heading closer to being big :(  I think it has been more difficult with her because I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that our family is complete.  Brecken will definitely remain the baby of the family :)
Brecken is loved rotten by her Sissy and Bubby.  Anniston will hang out with her and just sing, play, and read to her while I cook or clean up....such a little Mommy.  Treyson loves to sing to Brecken when she's sad.  Her favorite song is, "You Are My Sunshine".  She can be super fussy, and you start singing the first line of that song and it hushes her and normally gets her smiling too.  CRAZY!

Here's the sweet baby sleeping at Silver Dollar City last weekend.  She was such a trooper.....didn't cry 1 time the entire day!  We were there from 10:45-6!!
Brecken is eating 5 times per day with a "bonus" feeding (usually consisting of formula) around 4:30 or 5.  It carries us into dinner time, and then her "winding down" time which starts around 6:20.  She still LOVES her bath time, and is ready to go to sleep right after that.  She's still sleeping around 12-13 hours straight.  This girl loves her beauty sleep!
B started big girl food, and Jerry and I have made all of her baby food this time around!  I know, 3rd kid usually gets dumped on, right....but she's the first one we've ever done this with!  I thought it would be so overwhelming, but with lots of encouragement from friends and family who have done this, it has been surprisingly easy (and much less expensive!).  Foods she has eaten: Bananas, pears, mango, applesauce (this is the one food we buy.....the regular Mott's Natural ---no high fructose corn syrup--jar), broccoli, spinach, green beans, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, carrots.  I just bought some sweet peas and avocados, so she'll get to try those soon.  She hasn't turned anything down yet :)
My heart just is bursting at the seams with the love I have for this baby girl!  I am so thankful that God created space for more love....I didn't think it was possible after Anniston and Treyson.

Brecken (Brecky Boo, Brecky),
We love you so much baby girl.  You light up all of our lives, and we are so excited to watch you go through so many more stages as time goes on.  You are such a blessing to us.  We love you!
Love, Mommy and Dadoo

Happy Halloween!

We went to the church fall carnival on Sunday night.  We went there straight after being in Branson for a weekend.  The kids had a blast, but were definitely exhausted!

B hanging out in her stroller.  She pretty much just grunted the entire evening :)
 Anniston's favorite game:  Surprise wall
 Basketball game for T!
Wednesday night we went to Uncle Mike and Aunt Robin's for our traditional Halloween chili night!  Spencer coaches a game on Halloween night, so we decided to move it up a day!  The kids were thrilled to get to wear their costumes an extra night.

4 months old!

Say it isn't so!  How can she be 4 months old already, and Mommy hasn't even done a 1, 2, or 3 month post?  Oops! (because I have 3 kids....we're going to stick with that)
Sweet baby girl!  She is SO EASY to get to smile :)  And we are LOVING the giggles coming our way as well.
Hey Brecken, you're also going to have to get 3 more shots and an oral vaccination now that you're 4 months old.

SAY WHAT?!?!?!?!
I love my snuggle days with B (mondays and Fridays).  We sleep in, eat breakfast, and hang out in jammies until it's time to snag the big kids from school (then we change of course, so that nobody knows we've been snuggling in our jammies all day).
This girl is a total "suck on anything" queen!  Here she's even resorting to her lower lip--poor thing!

She drools like CRAZY!  Here's a nice drool shot for everybody to enjoy :)  You're welcome!
She hangs out and is actually playing in her exersaucer while Mommy cooks dinner, which is WONDERFUL!  We rotate her between this and the bumbo..  As long as she can turn to see Mommy, all is well :)

Now that she's 4 months old, we've graduated her to the family table!  She hangs out with us at dinner time and plays.  It's precious :)  I've got some suction toys in the attic somewhere that I know she'll love to spin while sitting here.....I should be looking for those instead of blogging for my 3 loyal followers....NAH!

All about Brecken!
26 inches

15.6 pounds

We're finishing off all of our size 2 diapers, then moving on into 3's.

She eats 6 times per day

Once 6:15 hits, this chick starts to turn into a pumpkin.  We have her in her bath shortly before 6:30 and she's in jammies, swaddled, and having her bedtime snack by 7.

She's asleep by 7:30 (sometimes earlier).  We lay her down as she's smiling, and it's SO HARD not to just want to play with her....but we pat her little bobo, say Night Night, and close the door----she never says a peep (such a good baby!)

She sleeps 11 hours straight on average.

She's on the "Baby Wise" Feed, Wake, Sleep schedule.  We've done this with all of our kids and swear by it, but it tickles me how many aren't aware of this and are shocked to find out it doesn't take a feeding or bottle to put her to sleep.

She LOVES tummy time (my other two despised it!)

She rolls over both ways RARELY, but she can do it (stubborn like her Dadoo??)

She takes a paci sometimes (getting less and less as she gets older)

She wants to be swaddled TIGHT when she sleeps.

She's doing alot more cooing these days....ah, love those baby coos!

She's not much into car rides...like, at all....unless she's asleep, then she's GREAT! HA!

She has curled up little hammer toes like her Dadoo.  She's actually grabbed my lip with them before.

Speaking of toes, she found them this month and LOVES to grab them now :)

She loves being outside.  We hang out alot out front in her walker while bubby and sissy ride bikes.  When we're in the backyard, she loves to be swinging.

Woooo Pig Sooie!

This family is ready to call those HOGS!!

Fun at the Park

After Anniston's dance clinic at SHS, we went over to the park across the street for a little bike ride and picnic.  Kids + bread + geese = Geese chasing said kids

HA!

Guess who officially ditched the training wheels for good AND simultaneously outgrew his bike?  This GUY!

Poor thing....he now rides sissy's old princess bike....but he honestly cares less :)

First Days of School

Treyson started a new Pre-K and has declared that it is AWESOME!
 With Ms. Rhonda....amazing teacher!

Brecken started at Ms Amber's 3 days per week while Mommy is working :(  I absolutely LOVE what I do, but I sure do miss my baby girl while I'm there.  Thank goodness Amber was able to keep her.  She has kept the big brother and big sister when they were babies, and she loves them like their her own.  Makes it much easier to leave her :)
Anniston started 1st grade! WHAT?!?!?!  How is this possible?

 Flowers for her teacher :)

I don't know her teacher very well, but I've heard nothing but wonderful things.  She seems absolutely precious!  What I do know is that Anniston LOVES her--and that's what counts!

I just know it's going to be an awesome year!
