Outside playing!

The weather this week has been GORGEOUS!  We have been outside as much as possible!  Anniston worked on a little bit of hitting, and then the kids got in some good trampoline time :)

 Thank goodness we have a "1 person jumping/doing tricks at a time" policy....you'll understand why...

Hope everybody is able to get out and enjoy this weather!

Snow day??

Several weeks ago, it started snowing mid-morning, and continued steadily until about 12:30.  The school had made an official call around 12:20 to close school early (2:00), worrying that if it snowed for an hour and a half more, the roads would be too slick for the buses.  

Well, as I said earlier, the snow stopped falling about 10 minutes after the official decision was made.  So Jerry scooted out of work to get both kids picked up by 2:00.  

This is what they had to play with....pitiful, huh?!

 But of course they managed to work on rolling up a little snowman!

 No clue what this is....Dadoo took a picture of it, so I posted it--ha!

Almost springtime!  YAY!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

I'm having to play blog-catch up.  I've been bad.....

We celebrated my birthday back in February.  MaMa and PaPa drove up and we went out to eat at Shogun's--Mommy's FAVORITE!  Then we went back to the house to eat the YUMMY cake Dadoo bought for Mommy at my favorite bakery :)

The kids and Dadoo took me shopping on Saturday (the day before my birthday).  It was wonderful :)

On Sunday, my mom took me shopping for my birthday present....a new pair of grey Uggs that I have been eyeing for over 2 years---so happy!  Jerry's parents got me a facial (which I used today, actually).  Facials are so heavenly.  I'm one lucky Mommy!

A New Favorite

Seriously? We took our kids to Waffle House?

Oh, yes we did! And to top that, we sat at the bar in front of the kitchen space...go hard or go home, right? HA!!

The kids loved it. They told me its their new favorite breakfast restaurant (IHOP used to hold the lead).

Mommy was craving some hash browns, and Dadoo was beside himself when I suggested Waffle House. We ate there sometimes in college, but not much in the past 10 years. Dadoo enjoyed every last bite!!
