AR vs. Georgia

We had a great time tailgating with the kids and our family/friends before the game. Unfortunately, the game didn't turn out the way we wanted, but the Hogs are DEFINITELY on the right track to success!
Anniston all ready for the tailgating! (with her tattoo on....she woke up and first thing asked if she could put on her tattoo)
Nanny and Treyson at the tailgate!

Kyle (who Jerry played football with) and his wife Lyndsay were in from Atlanta. They made it in on Thursday evening, and we had so much fun catching up/visiting with them. We're already planning on heading down to Atlanta for the Razorback game next fall. SO FUN!!
Here's a picture of Kyle and Lyndsay (aren't they just the cutest couple??)!

Anniston was showing off her dancing skills for Lyndsay. She really took to Kyle and Lyndsay over the weekend....and she hasn't seen them in over a year and a half! Treyson went to them very easily too. I guess it's just a bond from birth for him! haha

Health Department

Poor Treyson had to get his shots this morning. I've never seen him cry so hard in his entire life! It was so sad to watch his poor little face go beet red and hardly have enough breath to yell out his pain. I know it's good for him, but I just feel terrible when it happens!

So I had scheduled an appointment for what I thought was 8:00, so I thought I would be late because I was running slightly behind. But I double checked my calendar at a stop light, and wasn't scheduled until 8:10. So we were there in time. I was nervous that we would lose our spot if we were late. So I checked in. About 8:35, I was called over to pay the $5 fee. She said our things would be gathered up and she'd call us back soon. At 9:08, we were called back. That's right, an HOUR later. Treyson wasn't happy, I wasn't happy. He is busy, busy, busy and I would NOT let him get down in that Health department. There's no telling what's been touching the floor, chairs, walls.

Also, while we were walking around in the waiting room, a young teenager with a baby started walking funny and then collapsed on the floor. Her baby was fine...she landed on top of her mommy. But the teenage mom fainted and was not doing well. She was terribly thin, and it looked like she was "on" something. It really made me want to punch her lights out....not to mention, it delayed us being seen even longer because all of the nurses rushed out to help her and the baby.

I'm glad the baby was ok, and I don't know what her mom was up to (granted, it could be a serious problem other than drugs), but I hope this was a wake-up call for her!

I HATE THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT, and I'm so glad that we don't have to go back for a long time!

Gazebo

Since Anniston was little, we've always told her about the gazebo overlooking Lake Ouachita where Jerry proposed to me. Jerry told her that's where he took me to give me my pretty ring and asked me to marry him. She has been fascinated with this all summer, and wanted to go there. So before we left the lake last Monday, we headed to the gazebo. Anniston thought it was so cool....Treyson just really wanted to get into his carseat so he could fall asleep.
This is the exact spot that Jerry proposed, except I was on the left, and he was on the right.

Tubing!

Have you ever heard of anybody falling asleep while tubing? Well, anything's possible with Treyson! He went tubing on Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend at Lake Ouachita, and managed to fall asleep! He layed down at first, but I ended up sitting him up on his bottom so that he could see. I think he couldn't raise his head up very well because of the lifejacket.

Here's Treyson and Dadoo:
Anniston and Mommy.....she never wanted to stop. I think she tubed about 6 or 7 times this weekend.

Happy boy!

Dadoo and Anniston

Smash cake!

We just can't believe that Treyson is a year old! We celebrated his birthday at my parent's house at Lake Ouachita. We cooked out burgers and ate lots of yummy dips. Nanny and PawPawR were there, as well as Uncle Matt, Uncle Todd, Aunt Melissa, and cousins Taylor, Michael, and Connor. We had a great time, and Treyson enjoyed all of the yumminess!

Here's a picture of his smash cake:Singing "Happy Birthday"First dip in:This is so good! Cake for everybody else:Anniston and Michael enjoying their cake too!
This is what happens when you wait until bedtime to do smash cake. Sleepy boy rubbed his eyes with icing....not happy!
Getting icing wiped off by MaMa and Nanny I am NOT HAPPY about this people! Would somebody please just put me to bed???!!!!!!

Treyson, we love you so much and had so much fun celebrating your birthday with you. From pancakes, to story time at the library, to going to Chuck E. Cheese, to the lake, swimming, riding the tube.....WHEW, your birthday weekend was a blast! We love you buddy!

Birthday boy!

In our family, it's a tradition to have pancakes for breakfast on your birthday. There's also a candle that gets put into your pancakes so that "Happy Birthday" can be sung. We woke Treyson up on his birthday with his pancake and candle....he was not a happy camper. That boy likes his sleep, and we woke him up too early!

Eventually, he woke up and realized that his Mommy actually cooked him breakfast, so he got really excited!
Big sister enjoying her pancakes!

This is an awefully sneaky look!

Yo Baby and Princess Treyson

Treyson has really taken a liking to the YoBaby yogurt. The poor little guy can't eat much fruit because it causes his little rear end to get welps as soon as he has a bowel movement. Anniston had the same thing and we were able to figure out that it was the sugars in fruits (too acidic), so we eliminated them. Well, sure enough Treyson has the same problem. He is able to have the banana yogurt though, and loves it.

This particular evening, we got brave and let him go at it by himself:

First, he tried it with the left hand....no good

Then he tried it with the right hand....no good!
Forget it guys, I've got a better way.....

Some little brother better get used to his "I think I'm a princess" sister trying to dress him up. He's just like a little doll....except he yanks things off he doesn't like!

Dadoo is so proud of him not smiling in this picture!
