Supper-Club Christmas Party!

We went over to Lindsay's beautiful home last Saturday to have our Supper Club Christmas party. There was so much yummy food (super-moist turkey, green bean casserole, potatoes, sweet potatoes, 2 kinds of stuffing, rolls, cake, 4 layer delight, and Paul's iced sugar cookies--YUMMY!!!)
~
Captain Ray, Trent, random European traveler, and Dadoo My handsome little man in front of Miss Lindsay's tree.

Liz and Lindsay got Treyson this shirt....(we do realize that due to the physical structure of his parents, he should wind up a lineman--if he chooses to pursue football. However, his Dadoo is very persistant in training him to be a quarterback. He says "we're going for the glory this time"!! haha)

Liz and Lindsay got Anniston this super-cute shirt! Thanks girls!

Look at the beauty that John won! That's right....a liquor dispenser....it dispenses out of the "tee-tee" of a little boy...nice work John!

Ray showcasing the "superman" undies he got (acutally, there were 2 pairs....size MEDIUM!! haha) Look what Dadoo stole from somebody! He was actually excited about this!

.....and he wanted to share this with his son. Precious, huh? haha

One of the "jingle bells" fell off.....the boys merged their minds to try and remedy this awful situation

TA-DA!!! All better. Great work men!

Christmas in Van Buren!

Last Sunday, we headed to Van Buren to celebrate Christmas with Nanny's family. Here's a pic of all of the cousins, plus our two munchkins! Treyson got to start first since he was the youngest. It was a high-tech Frisbee and bathtub crayons from Susan and Pat....thanks guys!
Anniston got a barbie, art kit, and lip gloss from Laura and Randy!!

Posing in front of the tree while waiting on the other 10 cousins to open their presents!

So excited about his new tools. He can help PawPaw build (although Dadoo strongly discourages Treyson fom doing that!!)

Treyson got a back-pack full of tools from Don and Tina. Thanks guys!

Anniston was super-pumped about her new puppy dog. It has a remote control leash that makes the dog walk and bark. She named her "Sadie Belle". Thanks Don and Tina!

Nanny and PawPaw helping open all of the kids' new presents

Treyson opened the Razorback jersey that Mike and Robin bought him. Perfect to wear next football season (although we've had to hide it from him temporarily....he wants it NOW!) She was speechless when she opened the "Tangled" barbie doll!

Posing with the doll once the shock wore off! Thanks Mike and Robin....it's definitely a hit!

Nanny and Treyson in the pop-up football tent he got. It's the cutest thing! Thank you Randy and Laura!

Silly Saturday!!

Hanging out with no plans on a weekend is RARE for this family! We are always on the go, especially during football and Christmas time. We LOVE that we are close enough to get together often with family, but we also LOVE when the chaos calms down after Christmas!!
~
Jerry woke up with the kids this morning at 8, and let me sleep in (thank you!). While I was sleeping they made pancakes....yum!
~
Then the kiddos were playing in their rooms so well and decided to take a "nap". Here they are. They thought they were hilarious...

Oh, and by the way....did you notice the new layout of the blog? I love it. It's pink. Jerry says you can't have pink when you have a son. I told him that I will change the color the day he decides to post....how long do you think it will stay pink?? :)

....just another typical evening....

Cookie Monster and his "Cookie Monsters In Training" making dessert. All smiles!

Mmmmm.....don't you think that would taste good raw?

Why yes!

Yes, indeed....we'll eat it raw or baked!

We LOVE cookies!!

Our Fight for Leah

Please read our cousin, Meredith's blog entry from today. I cannot put it into words any better than she did today.

Leah,

We know you have been watching down on us for almost 5 and a half years. We could feel your presence throughout the trial as well. We all know what happened. You know what happened. Our hearts are so heavy with sadness right now. I know that your story reaching out to others will ultimately save other women....and honestly, it probably already has.

We love you more than words can say, and we look forward to rejoicing with you in heaven when our Father brings us home. Enjoy Christmas, one of your favorite holidays!!

Love, Jerry Amy Anniston and Treyson

Chef Anniston!

Nanny and PawPaw R got Anniston an Easy Bake oven for Christmas. Anniston has been itching to try it out since she opened it on Saturday. We've had a very busy week, and tonight was our first chance to try it out. She decided to make Chocolate Brownies. As Jerry was opening the box up, she ran upstairs to her pretend kitchen and got on her apron and hat! So funny!
Here it is!
And then our sassy thing wanted to pose with the oven!

She took a break from stirring to smile for me....love those eyes!!

So, she was done stirring...haha! We finished up for her!

She and Dadoo slid the brownie pan into the oven....

While it baked, we worked on the second batch. You'll understand why in a few pictures!

Here's the chef eating her masterpiece....Yummy was the verdict!!

Such a nice looking brownie pan she made!

And this is why we made 2 batches....so tiny!

Thank you for the oven Nanny and PawPaw...we see lots of baking in our future!

Christmas at Nanny & PawPaw R's!

We had Christmas at Nanny and PawPaw's house. Mark, Tracey, Kinley and Will were in from St. Louis, and even Mark's parents and younger brother were able to celebrate with us. We opened presents, listened to Chipmunk's Christmas music, and ate pigs in blankets.....definitely Christmas!
~
Part of Nanny's village: All of the presents around Nanny's tree that drove the kids CRAZY!!

Santa even left the kids Cheese Puffs!

Kinley opening some clothes with her Mommy and Daddy. Mark's dad, Uncle Matt, and Mark's brother Scott are in the background.

Sweet little Will definitely looks like he belongs in Razorback attire! This was his gift from Mike and Robin.

Trucks that have sirens....Nanny's favorite gift to give!

Anniston got a scooter (pink, of course) from Kinley and Will!

Look what Nanny and PawPaw got for Treyson!

And the rear view!

PawPaw loves presents that are in purple boxes!

Nanny and PawPaw,
Thank you for such a wonderful Christmas! We all must've been REALLY good this year....Santa must have been looking the other way at times ;)
