MaMa, PaPa, and Anniston
The (almost) birthday boy with his football cupcake cake!
Getting a little bit of help from Sissy with the candles....big adjustment going from 2 to 3! HA!
Silly kiddos!

Cousin Meredith and Anniston
Mrs. Sarah, Anniston, and Ms. Liz
Me and my momma!
Treyson got a new jersey, complete with Dadoo's number!

The band played towards us for the last song, and somebody thought it was LOUD!

The kiddos went over and up 1 row to sit with Great Aunt Keva and Great Uncle Tim....I think they did a great job at distracting them from watching most of the 4th quarter....sorry guys! :)

Waiting for the clock to run out so we can "high 5" the players
This was the kids' favorite part....and this also just happens to be Brey Cook, a hometown boy that they're "high fiving"!

Treyson got a sweatband from one of the players....he was excited, although the fake smile makes one think otherwise ;)
So much fun! This could be a great season if everybody will stay healthy!

Treyson's School Party

The Friday before Treyson's birthday, we took cookie cake, ice cream, and juice boxes to his preschool so he could celebrate with his friends. Here's his cookie cake:Thirsty birthday boy!
Taking a (short) break to smile for Mommy!
All of the kids got tickled because they had chocolate mustaches from the cookie cake, and it got rather silly listening to all of them giggle over their mustaches!

Razorback Birthday Party!

For the past 2 years, we have had the kids' birthday party together since we invite the same friends and family to both. This year, we went for a Razorback themed party. Jerry painted a field onto the back yard, constructed a goal post out of PVC pipe, and lined up chairs for the "stands". We had a blow up Hog (thanks Nanny and PawPaw), a bounce around (thank you to our church), and yummy cupcakes!

PaPa, Connor and Treyson
PawPaw R trying to help Anniston kick a ball....still a work in progress!
Cool kids play football in their shades :)

Present time!
Treyson got cleats from Nanny and PawPaw....he LOVES those shoes!

Thanks to all of our family and friends who came out to the party. You all are so wonderful to our family, and our kids in particular. We love you all so much!

Happy Birthday MaMa!

We finally managed to get together with MaMa and PaPa so that we could celebrate MaMa's birthday. We gave her a birthday present back in July--we got her car detailed for her while she and PaPa were on their 35th wedding anniversary trip.Singing Happy Birthday to MaMa!

Lovin' this boy!

Love this girl....

Mikey's

Treyson is our child who likes to test the boundaries on a daily basis. He had alot of problems at school with not listening and following directions, and was getting time-outs daily. With Treyson, time-outs were not effective. We kept trying to figure out "what will it take to get Treyson's attention?"

Treyson is VERY ATHLETIC! He only wants to wear under armour type clothing (such a bummer since I had bought so many clothes at 75% off last year that he has no interest in). He also only wants to wear running shoes, or his "Mikey's" (as he prefers to call them). He doesn't think that he can do anything without them on. At school, he plays kickball, baseball, and football at play time. Sandbox? No thanks! Slide or monkey bars? Don't have time--too many balls to kick!

We had an "AHA" moment when we realized that the thing nearest and dearest to his heart were his Mikey's and his balls (all 30 of them). When Treyson gets into trouble, he does not go to time out.....his Mikey's do. It is absolutely the most devastating thing to Treyson, because he is so sad that he can't run fast or play at school without his shoes on. We find it hilarious, but hey--whatever works!

Ever since Treyson moved up to the 3 year old classroom (a year early, but that's another story), he has been doing great! No time-outs at school, and listening to his teachers! YAY Treyson! We all decided that Treyson is just a smart little boy, and was bored in the 2-3 class room and needed the challenge of the older class. So proud of him! :)

Hopefully this means the Mikey's can stay on his feet instead of going to time-out!
