Twice the fun!
I went over to Bartlesville to love on these two adorable nephews of mine. They were 4 weeks old when I went. They are so precious, and I can't wait to see them next weekend! They're going to stay with us for the next 2 weekends for the Razorback football games.
Calvin and Caleb were so sweet while I was there. They slept 5 hours through the night, took their bottles, and slept another 5 hours! It is amazing how they try to find each other when they're not right next to one another. Even when they're swaddled, they wiggle towards each other--so sweet!
Courtney with her sweet boys....doesn't she look amazing? She is such a GREAT MOMMY!
I love you all, and can't wait to see you next week! Uncle Jerry and your cousins Treyson and Anniston are SO EXCITED to meet you too!
Happy Fall Y'all!
We've got all of our pumpkins out, and it's looking and feeling like fall around here! Treyson is quite the little character. He still LOVES anything to do with balls, especially football. He always wants to go outside first thing in the morning to play football....poor thing still hasn't quite grasped the concept of "dew".
He definitely gives his sister a run for her money. A couple of weeks ago, Anniston found a bug inside. She decided to save the little bug and take it outside. Treyson and I watched her pick it up, and we opened the door for her. She put the bug down and said, "Go find all of your friends now" in a sweet little voice. She stood up and stepped back, and Treyson stepped forward and stomped the poor thing. SHE. WAS. HORRIFIED! She put her hands on her hips and said, "Treyson, you have got to be kidding me?!" and stomped off inside.
.....I have a feeling that won't be the last time he purposely ruins her plans!
This sweet girl warms our hearts daily. She is such a sweet, loving, kind hearted little girl. She always wants to please. She has not ever had a "stick pulled" at Pre-K. However, I ask her each Friday if she got any sticks pulled that week. Yesterday, she said, "No sticks pulled again, as always."
Jerry's grandmother is in the hospital. She was in ICU for about 4 days, then into a regular room, and now she's in a rehab facility. Jerry and I went to go visit her, but did not take the kids (don't really want to take the kids into a hospital--unless it's the labor and delivery ward--for fear of Staph infection). So, I told the kids that she was very sick and if they want to make her a card we would take it to her to help cheer her up. Anniston sat there in the car and immediately bowed her head and folded her hands and said, "Dear God, please heal Great Grandma R. Amen. Mommy, did you know that I can pray any time I want? I don't have to wait until we say nighttime prayers."

Our evening routine...
On days that Mommy works, we get home around 5:30 and the kids immediately want to go outside and play. Mommy usually starts dinner, and then goes outside to play football or baseball with the kids. Then after dinner, Dadoo and Mommy play baseball with the kids. We are LOVING this weather, and will be so sad when we can't go outside each evening to play. The kids have gotten really good at hitting the ball, and are figuring out all of the rules.
Here's a short clip of the kids hitting one evening last week!
I think both of the kiddos might enjoy playing baseball and softball!

Go Cardinals!
Friday night, we took the kids to the Cardinals game. Jerry's Uncle Mike coaches the high school football team. It was their homecoming, and was a great Cardinal win!
We even got to see Aunt Robin, who made sure the kids were still keeping up with their color recognition. She tests them every time she sees them with a bag of M&M's (1 bag per kid--hey, practice makes perfect, right?!). We also saw Ryan and Meredith. Spencer is on the sidelines coaching this year and so was JD! What a treat!
The kiddos got to run on the REAL football field after the game....they thought that was amazing. Treyson has decided he wants to be a cardinal now. In fact, Saturday evening Treyson and I were talking as I was snuggling in bed with him. (yes, he asks me to snuggle every night, and yes I agree every night and will continue to do so until he's 18 if he lets me. In my defense, snuggling lasts about 2 minutes!) So I asked Treyson if he was going to dream about Mommy. Of course he said, "No." So I asked him what he was going to dream about. He told me that he was going to dream "about playing football. I am going to be a Cardimal (yes, he says "Cardimal" instead of "Cardinal") and play with Uncle Mike (notice he said "with" not "for"!HA!). I will wear a football helmet like the one in my closet, except it will be a Cardimal. And then I will wear a Cardimal jersey and REAL football pants. Mommy, you can come watch me play." This boy is ALL BOY! So funny.
Nighty night
This is what I heard shortly after Jerry and Treyson went back to get jammies on....this definitely calms down our rowdy little monkey! HA!

Bath time singing!
Jerry played some tunes for Anniston while she bathed on Monday evening. She didn't see my flip video (it was hiding behind Dadoo's cell phone). Enjoy!
