2012 Cotton Bowl Arkansas vs. Kansas State

Jerry took Treyson to the 2012 Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. Treyson absolutely ADORES football (pee-wee, jr. high, high school, college, professional), so Jerry knew it would be a hit taking him!
They rode down to Dallas with my parents. They made 1 stop for dinner, then made it to the hotel....not too bad for a 3 year old, huh? Here's a pic of Treyson that my mom sent me this morning. She took a pic of him at breakfast with her iPhone, then started adding crazy stuff to him. I'm sure he thought this was hilarious!
Dadoo and Treyson decided to take a dip.....in the hot tub!

Looks like they even played some football!

On their way to the stadium!
Football players must be fully hydrated with Gatorade prior to a football game. Good work T!Jersey? check! Football pants? check! Helmet? check! Football? check! Shin guards? check! LOL!
....and now's he's added his baseball batting gloves to the mix!Going deep for a pass!Maybe he'll grow up and do TV for fun just like Dadoo!
Made it into their seats! Let's go Hogs!Post game show....Treyson made his big TV debut!! Dadoo has since confessed that some Dr. Pepper (Treyson's first time to have it) is what kept him going strong throughout the game!I see some sleepy eyes! This football player is WORN OUT! He's sporting his jersey over his jammies, and tucked into his carseat with his Razorback blanket (we don't mess around, people!)This is one tuckered out Razorback football player. Sweet dreams baby boy! Hope you enjoyed your first Razorback bowl game...there will be MANY MORE to come!!

Christmas at Nanny and PawPaw's!

We spent the weekend with Nanny and PawPaw R the weekend before Christmas. Matt, Emmy, and all of the Bokermann crew were in town! Here's Nanny's tree before all of the presents were opened....Nanny always "cuts back" --ha!But first, we had to wake Uncle Matt up--that went over REAL well!
Jerry, Mark, Tracey, and Emmy--in position and ready for kids!

New baseball helmet--she was SO EXCITED!
Cinderella dress--so pretty!
new bat and ball for T-Man!

New strider bike for Treyson. This thing is so neat. There are no pedals. It is to teach balance first, then you learn to pedal. Basically the idea is you skip the training wheels. These bikes are for 2-5 year olds. We went this route because Anniston has ZERO balance and has been using her training wheels for 2 years. Treyson's been on his bike for about an hour and already has more balance than Anniston!
Dadoo dodging flying wrapping paper bombs from Uncle Matt--a family tradition!
Will and his new Razorback jersey--he sure looks good in RED!
Nanny and her new chair! This was a chair of Aunt Leah's that we had recovered for Nanny and her new fancy bedroom. I think Nanny was a little shocked--she had NO CLUE!
PawPaw sure does love those purple boxes!
Thank you Nanny and PawPaw for a fun weekend!

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving weekend was so fun this year. We headed down the hill and stayed with MaMa and PaPa. We had Thanksgiving lunch at their house, then went to Jerry's aunt and uncle's house for another meal. Jerry and I left straight from there to head to Baton Rouge for the LSU game, and the kids spent 1 night at MaMa and PaPa's, and 1 night at Nanny and PawPaw's....have to spread the grandkid love, you know!

Here are a few individual pics of the kids from the day before Thanksgiving:

Family pic:
I am NOT up for "aunt of the year" award this year. Can't tell who is who....shame on me! I can tell you one thing for sure--whether it's Caleb or Calvin....they're both ridiculously cute and so mild mannered! Love them!

Big boy!
Aunt Melissa getting some lovins!
While we oohed and aahed over the little guys, these 4 (well, 1 is MIA--Connor) played so well together!

Hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving! A huge THANK YOU to our parents for being able to babysit on such short notice so that we could go to the AR vs. LSU ballgame!

Anniston's Christmas Program 2011

Anniston had her Christmas Program at her pre-k. She was an angel, and she was so excited that she got to be an angel with her bestie, Nila!

This was her beaming as she was done with her performance. She looked beyond Mommy and Dadoo to see her favorites: PawPaw, Nanny, MaMa, and PaPa!

Anniston and sweet Nila Belle!
Anniston and her teacher, Ms. Rhonda (LOVE HER!)

Anniston, you did such a great job! We are so proud of you. You will always be a sweet angel to us! Love, Mommy and Dadoo

Treyson's Thanksgiving Program

This year, Treyson's preschool had a Thanksgiving program because squeezing in a Christmas program at the church was getting hectic. I really enjoyed it, but I know that the grandparents sure missed the Christmas Program! Here was our little Indian in the middle (in a sweater vest) and his part was "Big and Brave!" (as he flexed his muscles--perfect part for T-Man!So proud of our little Indian!
Here is the tea towel he made us! Love this!
Way to go Treyson! We are so proud of you! We love you :), Mommy and Dadoo

Girls Weekend!

Well, Jerry and T-Man left yesterday for the Cotton Bowl. Jerry surprised him at preschool and told him right then that they were headed to the Cotton Bowl in .....California?

So what does that mean for us girls? A slumber party and a date day! After picking Anniston up from pre-k, I asked her what she wanted to do. She wanted to go to the gym (the kids LOVE the "kids fit" classes that are offered and the fact that our cousin's girlfriend is the teacher), and then eat ice cream. . . so that's exactly what we did! Then we came home, showered, and had a slumber party in Mommy and Dadoo's bed. Mommy felt like singing the song "roll over, roll over...so they all rolled over and one fell out, there was one in the bed and the little one said...."
The plan for our date day? Going to the park this morning so that Anniston can ride and I can run behind her. She's gotten so fast, so this will be great exercise for us both! Then we'll come home, get cleaned up, and go get our nails done. Then I'm sure Anniston will pick somewhere to go out to lunch. Then we'll be ready for ballet class this afternoon.

Love cherishing nights/days like these. Love this sweet girl SO MUCH!
