Disney Vacation! (Day 2)

We started off Day 2 (our first full day) bright and early! We had to wake the kids up, but they were bouncing off the walls once they rubbed their eyes and realized DisneyWorld wasn't a dream! We headed out to Hollywood Studios that day.

.....gates opened--and we're off! Mommy raced ahead to go get FastPasses for Toy Story!
Here we are at Toy Story....our family favorite at Hollywood Studios. We rushed there first, grabbed FastPasses, rode the ride immediately, then rode it again with our FastPasses. This ride is fairly new to Hollywood Studios, and the line goes from decent to awful (10 minutes to 60 minutes) in nothing flat! We never waited more than 10 minutes. (Jerry researched Disney for hours and laid out a great game plan so that we weren't spending time "waiting")

Hollywood Tower of Terror. We rode this ride twice--ALL OF US! Anniston is our thrill seeker, so we weren't worried about her. Treyson, however, is more cautious. So we explained how the ride works and compared it to the "Hoppy Frogs" at Silver Dollar City (except it's 13 stories of dropping versus 5 feet--ha!) He held my hand the whole time and had a concerned look on his face, but never cried or got upset at all! I was so proud of him!! He skipped off the ride like he was hot stuff. We headed to the restrooms before we went to ride the Rockin Roller Coaster......

Fast forward 2 hours. I took Treyson potty. I noticed he had "skid marks" in his underwear. I said, "Treyson, did Dadoo wipe your boo-boo's?" He said, "Yes". I said, "Well, I need to talk with him because he didn't wipe you very good". He said, "yes Mommy, he is in big trouble."

So we get to Jerry and I inquire about the skid marks. Jerry picked up Treyson and said, "Well, buddy, I wasn't going to call you out, but now you've forced me".....and proceeded to explain that there was a little boo boo waiting in his undies when they got to the bathroom. So, what does this mean? It means that the Hollywood Tower of Terror scared the sh*t out of Treyson!!!
Treyson, Nanny, and PawPaw wore their "1st visit" pins (Anniston wore one too since her first visit was when she was 18 months old and doesn't remember it!!)

Disney Vacation! (Day 1)

So, Mommy and Dadoo had been planning a DisneyWorld vacation since last summer! We decided that we wanted to keep it a secret from the kids until THE MORNING WE LEFT! It was SOOOO hard, but SOOOO worth it!

We set up a little scavenger hunt to find Mickey's clues, which were 1) backpack filled with fun airplane things to do 2) Autograph book/pen for each kid 3) plush Mickey and Minnie. Then the kids watched a video that Mommy and Dadoo had recorded, and we told them we were going to Disney World!

Dadoo gave us a REALLY BIG surprise! He arranged for a limo to pick us up at the airport and take us to our Disney Hotel. There was a DVD playing with a cartoon, and it was stocked with yummy drinks!
We checked into our Hotel, got cleaned up, and headed out for a short day at Epcot.

We went to dinner in Norway at Akerhaus, a princess dinner! The kids LOVED it! They got to meet several princesses, and even walked around the restaurant during the Royal Parade!

Mommy made Dadoo's day by making him wear his "Happy Birthday" pin...his birthday was just 2 days before our trip. People told him Happy Birthday everywhere we went, and he even got special desserts everywhere we ate!

Mommy and Dadoo definitely will not be winning "Parents of the Year" award with this! The back of each side of the stroller velcro's so it can be up or fully recline....well, obviously the velcro came loose! HA!
Our first day was amazing! There is so much we did that we did not take pictures of (since we were riding!). We did Test Track (twice), Soarin, Nemo, Spaceship Earth, and several hands on areas at Epcot. We didn't even make it to the "countries" (well, besides Norway since we ate dinner there) since we didn't get to the park until 4 PM. There was a fantastic Illuminations show with lasers and fireworks that the kids loved.
