Disney Vacation (Day 3)

Day 3 was Magic Kingdom!  We decided that we would start out first thing in the morning to make the most of our time.  We started the day off with donuts.....breakfast of champions!

We got to the park about 30 minutes before the gates opened so that we could see the "welcome show" complete with all of the characters arriving by train to Magic Kingdom.  So precious !
Obviously it was too sunny for Treyson !

The characters are arriving !
Anniston had her hat from when we brought her when she was 18 months old.  So Treyson got his mouse ears :)  Love it !
Mommy and T-Man rode Astro Orbiter while Anniston, Dadoo, Nanny, and PawPaw rode Space Mountain

Visiting with Cinderella's wicked step-mother.  Obviously, Anniston has had a wardrobe change here.  I'll do a separate post about that soon !

pretending to be "Grumpy" ! HA!
Getting ready to ride the "Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh"

This is what Jerry looked like the entire time.  Wearing the backpack, pushing the stroller, all the while viewing his "Undercover Tourist" app on his iPhone--AWESOME APP!!!
Lunch at Cinderella's castle :)

So much fun eating inside the castle !

.....make a wish !
make a wish!
hugging Belle !
And now Aurora !
decorating her cupcake (this was the dessert that came with lunch) !
WHAT??  A pic of us together???  We tried to squeeze as many of these in as we could while we had Nanny and PawPaw with us :)
T-man eating his dessert
Fairy godmother
PawPaw sat still for 3 minutes and look what happened :)
SNACK TIME !  Waiting for the parade.....

Love this picture !
We were at Magic Kingdom on February 4.  On February 4, 2011 our nephew Teddy was born into heaven.  We decided that we would send Teddy a Mickey Mouse balloon (red, of course--GO HOGS!)  for his birthday.  The kids were so excited and still talk about sending Teddy his special balloon.  What a precious little angel that heaven has, and we know he had a super-fun birthday party in heaven :)

YAY!  Finally got to meet Mickey and Minnie !

We went back to the hotel around 3 to take a 3 hour nap.  The kids woke up, then we headed out for more fun !  Yes, the park was open until midnight that night, and we wanted to enjoy every minute we had while we were there !
This man is so amazing.  I can't even put into words how much I love him :)  He is such an amazing Dadoo......our kiddos are SO IN LOVE with him.  He was super-stressed at the beginning of our trip because he wanted to squeeze in as much as he could while his parents were there (they came for the first 4 days), and if something didn't go as he planned he was freaking out.  He FINALLY started to unwind this particular evening, and it was like you could see the "manager" in him finally beginning to relax :)
We went on the jungle cruise

Somebody was loving their cotton candy dessert (yes, this entire bag came with his dinner) at 10:30 PM

It's TINKERBELL!
We left the park around 11:30 that night.  The kids were asleep before we boarded the bus, and slept great !  Magic Kingdom is Disney to me.  I think of Disney, and I think of the castle.  It is GINORMOUS, though. . . . . so there is one more day of Magic Kingdom---hold tight for that post !

Happy Mother's Day

Well, Mother's Day is finally here.  All of the projects at school and secrets the kids have been keeping from me were revealed today !  I am one lucky Mommy to have my two healthy, loving children in my life.  I am thankful that God chose me to have such an awesome responsibility to raise these babies.  There are good times and bad times that go with being a mother, but the tough times are SO worth it when I see their precious faces giggle, smile, and hug me.  Thank you Anniston and Treyson.  I am the luckiest Mommy in the world !
My mom, MaMa, is such an amazing mom.  She and I truly are best friends.  I can call and talk to her about anything.  She is best about taking several looks at situations before reacting.  She can help me figure out basically any problem I have.  She is quick to help with the kids when I need her, and the way she loves my babies makes me love her even more.  I love you Mom.  Thank you for everything you do !
Jerry's mom, Nanny, is one of a kind.  She is such a kid at heart.  We spend so much time laughing when we're with "Jules"--never a dull moment.  Julie has taught me to live  in the moment and to enjoy your family.  She has always dropped anything that was planned for the sake of her kids and grandkids.   She knows how quickly life can be taken from you, and to not miss a moment.  She loves Anniston and Treyson like crazy and always calls them, "Nanny's angels" (whether they should be called an "angel" that day or not--ha!).  Thank you Nanny for being such an amazing woman.  I love you!

I'm sure she'll love that I put this picture of her on here......but this is Nanny to a "T".  While at Disney, Cinderella had moved on, and she just couldn't stand that SHE didn't get her picture taken with her (only Anniston and Treyson did).......so she chased down Cinderella for another pic !  Only Nanny :)

To all mother's today---Happy Mother's Day !

How Dadoo listens to baseball games.....

Dadoo loves listening to Razorback baseball games.  Whenever a game is being played during naptime, it means Dadoo gets to lay out.  I think he must close his eyes and pretend that he is actually laying out on a lounge chair by his parent's pool. . . . but up here, the trampoline will have to do! (especially since it's off limits for the time being--notice the hole in the net; yeah, the new net is on backorder--nice!)
