Bippity Boppity Boutique!!

While at the Magic Kingdom, I knew that I wanted to let Anniston get all dolled up at the Bippity Boppity Boutique.  She is at the PERFECT age to truly enjoy every moment of turning into a princess. Anniston had no clue that she was going to turn into a princess that day.  We secretly packed her Cinderella dress (that Nanny conveniently bought her for Christmas!), "glass" slippers, and matching socks.  When we got to the door, she didn't really know what to expect, but as soon as she walked in and saw several other little princesses getting made over, she was ECSTATIC !  Of course, the second half of this surprise is that we went to eat lunch at Cinderella's castle immediately after getting all dolled up !
Here's the inside of the boutique:
We decided to let Treyson get turned into a Knight while we were there.  It basically entailed getting his hair spiked with gel and confetti.

Here he is deciding what color to use.  He chose green.

Sprinkling a little bit of pixie dust !

His "green" gel Mickey (that didn't last long-ha!)
Of course every knight needs a sword
. . . . . .and a shield !
TA - DA !!!
Now it was Anniston's turn.  She was definitely in her element :)
The photographer was having so much fun flirting with her

Anniston still talks about how her fairy godmother made her hair stand straight up !

Getting her nails painted

Eye shadow applied. . . .
Puckering up for the lipstick !
Add in a little pixie dust. . . .
.  . . . .and you get a beautiful princess !

She was SO PROUD of how she looked, and couldn't wait to go show Dadoo !
Absolutely. Adore. This. Picture !  It melts my heart to see the love between these two.  Anniston adores her Dadoo, and her Dadoo is crazy about his little princess !

Anniston and Treyson,

We hope you liked your make-overs!  Mommy and Dadoo knew we had to do this when we went to Disney.  We made this reservation 180 days before we left, knowing it was the number one thing we wanted to do at Magic Kingdom !

We love you two!

Murder High School: Class of '85 Reunion

Jerry and I attended our first Murder Mystery party this weekend.  We have been so pumped about this !  Neither of us have participated in one of these before.
Jerry was "Joe Nebraska".  He was the varsity football team captain, and is still talking about how great of a football player he was.  He is now the PE coach at the local high school.  I was "Natalie Nebraska".  I was the captain of the cheerleading squad.  I though that everybody loved me....but apparently everybody hated me :(  I tricked Joe into marrying me by saying I was pregnant with his baby (then faked a miscarriage).  I also had a fling with a man (and everybody was talking about it at the reunion).
....back to reality.....I really stink at these two things: 1) Lying 2) Keeping a straight face.  So acting this part was so hard for me.  People were talking bad about me, and I was having to lie about things and bribe people.....totally not my nature.  I think Jerry struggled too.  At the end of the party, he came up and hugged me and told me he never wants to have to be mean to me again--that it really tore him up.  (Part of his role at the party was to tell me he was leaving me because of my alleged affair)
 Coach Nebraska with Cindy Crawfish

Getting the instructions from Nick Nixon

Jason and Michelle--they were the band couple
Lindsay and Zach (Mr. and Mrs. Nixon)
Prom Queen Erin with PomPom girl Sarah (who happened to be luring my husband Joe away from me all night long).  Both of these girls hated me (again, so hard for me to act and be the one everybody hates!)
THE VICTIM! Poor Steve (guy had it coming though. . . )

See the cute girl in the black dress?  Yeah, even killers can look that cute !  Kimber was the one who murdered John.
We had an absolute blast at the party.  The hostess, Liz, was amazing (of course).  We are definitely looking forward to making a Murder Mystery party a yearly event for our supper club !

Change Me: A Cinderella Story

Anniston had her first ballet tonight.  It wasn't really a recital.  The ballet company she takes from puts on an actual "ballet" (versus each age group doing different random dances).  Anniston was ECSTATIC !  She was cast as a butterfly, and the group of girls she danced with did a precious job !

We kind of made a big deal out of this, since it was her first ballet !  Ms. Kelly did her hair this morning at the salon that Mommy goes to----she thought she was HOT STUFF !

 Posing with Nanny afterwards
 Now it's Mommy's turn !
Snapped a quick picture before I left her backstage to get ready !
I was able to run back and get a pic of her during intermission.  She did GREAT during her performance.  After she changed, she was able to come out and watch the second half of the show.

Her fan club brought her flowers for doing such an amazing job!
MaMa and PaPa came up and brought her some beautiful roses wrapped up so pretty.  They also brought a present up from MeMaMa, which was a ballet charm bracelet.  It is so precious !
Nanny and PawPaw R also brought her some gorgeous flowers !  PawPaw went with Treyson to the Farmer's Market this morning and hand selected this bouquet for Anniston :)
.....and here are the flowers that Treyson picked out for Anniston at Farmer's Market

Group picture!  We are overwhelmed with how much support our parents give to our children.  We do realize how truly blessed we are, and strive to not take these moments for granted.
Ms. Liz was so sweet to come watch Anniston today.  She has been anxiously awaiting this ballet as much as we have.  We really do have the absolute best group of friends :)
Anniston's ballet today was a faith based ballet.  It was the Cinderella story, but it was also about how God can work through us to make us better people who live out our lives to be Godly.  Cinderella read the bible and understood that God encourages us to forgive, as she forgave her wicked step-sisters and step-mother today.  I was overwhelmed with emotion today.  The music that was used, with all of the girls dancing their hearts out in God's name....simply speechless.  I saw Anniston's teacher at intermission of the second recital, and barely was able to finish thanking her because I was so overcome with emotion.

Anniston,
Sweet princess, you were so amazing today.  We are incredibly proud of you.  You looked way too old in your make-up ;)  We are so happy that you love ballet.  Ms. Rachel is such a Godly woman, and Mommy and Dadoo are so thankful that we found her.  She is an incredible ballet instructor, but she is also such an outspoken Christian.  One of our jobs as your Mommy and Dadoo is to surround you with God-loving persons who care about you.  We knew that we were doing that through your school, church, and friends we associate with.....but who knew we would find that in your ballet class?  Just another example that God is in control!  We were led to Ms. Rachel for a reason, and we are so happy that you love to dance with her, for God!

We love you so much,
Mommy and Dadoo
