A Flower Girl and a Ring Bearer!

Last Saturday, before the kids opened their presents from Nanny and PawPaw, Matt and Emmy had a special letter to read to the kids.  Matt read a letter that Emmy had written him about how excited she was to marry him, but she really needed little girls to throw petals and little boys to bring her rings down the aisle.
Here are the kids intently listening:
They had to follow the arrows....
To this cookie cake asking them if they (Kinley, Anniston, Treyson, and Will) would be their flower girls and ring bearers!!

Later that day, we had an appointment at the bridal shop to get measured for Anniston's dress and Treyson's tuxedo.

We are thrilled that the kids will be able to be in such a special event!  We'll even have LB3 by then, but I bet he/she will be sleeping through most of the festivities!!

Preschool Thanksgiving Program

Treyson's preschool does a Thanksgiving Program (versus a Christmas Program), and we got to go watch them perform today.  Afterwards we enjoyed a Thanksgiving Feast of ham, turkey, green beans, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and rolls.....then dessert! YUM!

Treyson was a pilgrim.  All of the kids were precious and the program was so cute!

 Getting into his ship.....
 Sailing to America.....

The Indians and Pilgrims all came together and were Thankful!!

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We have SO MUCH to be thankful for!

17 Week Belly Bump

LB3 is growing like crazy!!  Or maybe just Mommy!!  Nonetheless, my body knew exactly what to do when I got pregnant--holy belly!  I haven't grown in several weeks, but this is pretty much the look I'm sporting these days--an obvious belly :)

We will have our 20 week ultrasound in 2 weeks--so excited to see our sweet little "Hershey" again!! (We say "Hershey" because it breaks down to "He-r-she"--he or she--and we're just weird like that.....again something we've done with our other two kiddos!)

Happy Halloween!

We had such a great Halloween evening!  Jerry's Aunt Robin and Uncle Mike invited us over for chili and trick-or-treating--fantastic combination!  The food was yummy as always, and the company was great!  Several of our cousins that live up here came over as well, so it was great getting to hang out and catch up with everybody!

Here are our trick-or-treaters........

Treyson the Football

Anniston the Scaredy Cat

Uncle Mike opening the door to see the kids for the first time!
Uncle Mike gave Treyson a football signed by John L Smith.  He volunteered at a clinic over the summer at the UofA, and he got one of these.  He is so sweet, he immediately knew he wanted to give it to Treyson!  He is the high school head football coach for the Farmington Cardinals, and told Treyson as we were leaving that he would start working with him on proper technique and skills to develop him into a quarterback.......I'm pretty sure Jerry might have teared up! HA!  Jerry's cousin, Spencer (who is also Uncle Mike's son and an offensive line coach) keeps teasing Jerry that he is going to develop Treyson into a left guard........of course you all have heard me say that Jerry says we're "going for the glory" this time by having a skill player (versus Jerry being an o-lineman, getting beat up, and getting no credit-----bitter much?!?!)
Uncle Mike, Aunt Robin, and the kiddos
Spencer and Lyndsay took the kids trick-or-treating (JD went as well--just didn't make this picture, and Jerry was there as the official paparazzi)
JD helping Treyson line up all of his candy......taking inventory revealed that Tootsie rolls were DEFINITELY the popular candy of choice (at least in this particular Farmington neighborhood!)
Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!  We sure did!!

Family Fun Halloween Carnival

We took the kids to our church's Halloween Carnival on Sunday evening.  The kids were so excited for their trial run with their costumes.  Anniston is a black cat, and Treyson is a football.
Caught her blinking AND it's fuzzy.....but it's the only picture I have of her tail!
 The kids played Plinko.....

Then they pulled a sucker to find out how many pieces of candy they got......

Treyson shot some hoops (definitely had to lose the costume for this)
 Bean bag toss
Then we ended with a hayride!
They played several other games, bounced in the jump around, did a inflatable slide, and went through the Haunted House--level 1.....not scary!.  We had a blast, and the kids are even more excited for Wednesday night!!

Fall Family Pictures

We had Blaire Perry from b.Perry Portraiture take our pictures 2 weekends ago.  It was our first time to use her, and I was so impressed with how well things went!  We did what's called a "mini session"....so all of these were taken within 20 minutes!  The kids did so well, and we were super proud of them.

Watch out family, you may see a Christmas gift or two in here :)

Happy Fall, y'all!!!
