Sick boy :(

Treyson started to have a high fever on Wednesday night of last week. His temp got up to 103! He was rather lathargic, but we got his fever broken and I stayed home with him on Thursday. Thursday he was his silly, rambunctious little self....but started to run a low-grade fever Thursday around 3:00.

Friday he was fine, and again ran low-grade fever that afternoon, and again woke up with a low-grade fever Saturday morning. I called the nurse at the Pediatric clinic, and she told me it sounded like he was fighting off a virus, and as long as he didn't have any other symptoms...keep on keeping on! So that's exactly what we did!

These pics are from Treyson getting a cool bath Wednesday evening as we were trying to break his fever. He was having a great time!!

It's Sunday, and we're back to normal! YAY for healthy babies!!

Happy Birthday Will!

Cousin Will turned 2 on Sunday, and was at our house since the family was in town for cousin Meredith's wedding the day before.

VBS Pool Party!

We did Vacation Bible School at our church in the beginning of June, and it was such a great week! Mommy took off an entire week of work to help with the bible school. We also did swim lessons with Miss Kelsey every afternoon! On Friday night, the whole VBS had a party at the local swim park.

Happy Birthday Aunt Courtney!

Aunt Courtney's birthday is on July 5th, so of course we all celebrate her birthday with a fantastic weekend on the lake, fireworks, good food, and cake!! The kids all helped Aunt Courtney blow her candles out!

.....and now they're all licking the candles! Next year, there will be 2 sweet little boys, Caleb and Calvin, to help her lick all of the icing too!!

Fireworks!

We bought a few "kiddie" fireworks to do in our driveway while our neighbors hosted their annual 4th of July swim party and fireworks display (they spend $$ on the fancy fireworks, and we're so lucky we only have to walk out to our driveway for quite an amazing show!).

Happy Memorial Day from our family! Thanks to all of those who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom. We especially thank and terribly miss our PePaPa, who was in the Navy. We love you PePaPa!

BIG visitor!

Jerry took the kids out for dinner and dessert this evening. When they got home, they yelled at me to come check out the "cute little turtle". Are you kidding me??? This beast of a turtle had a HUGE tail! Definitely not something worth packing in a box for show-n-tell!!
