Easter (after church)

We went to MaMa and PaPa's house for hunting eggs/lunch after a great church service.
 ......and they're off!
What a beautiful day for an egg hunt :)

MT filling up his basket . . . . and notice Scott and Courtney behind Michael getting their boys to smile while sitting with MeMaMa in the rocking chair ---love it !
Sweet little CJ. . . we told the kids to get 10 eggs.  The big kids were counting and CJ was walking around and picking up eggs saying "4" (then move to the next) "9"........just spouting out random numbers ---so funny !
MeMaMa with her two littlest grandsons !

Look who stole Anniston's basket !  Never a dull moment with our silly Dadoo !

Not gonna lie . . . . have no clue which one this is !  We'll go with Scott's default "Buddy" !

 . . . . and the other "Buddy" ????
CJ decided to go swimming at MaMa's

Can you imagine what the people behind my camera were doing to cause EVERY SINGLE PERSON to be laughing and NOT looking at the camera? ? ?
MeMaMa, MaMa, and PaPa with all of their grandkids ---I LOVE this picture :)
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter, and were able to sit back and celebrate our Lord who rose up again for our salvation!  What an amazing sacrifice He made for you and me !

Easter morning!

The kids woke up on Easter morning and found out that the Easter Bunny had made it's way to MaMa and PaPa's house! The kids quickly found their baskets and began hunting some eggs!
And these cutie-pie's just hung out and smiled !

There was a egg hidden really well, and we were trying to point them in the right direction. Do you see it ?!?
Headed to church!

Easter pic with Nanny and PawPaw R
Uncle Matt was home from Memphis as well !

Easter fun at Nanny and PawPaw R's!

We headed to the "land of the grandparents" on Friday before Easter. Friday evening we got to hang out with MaMa and PaPa and two precious little nephews of ours, Caleb and Calvin. We played outside most of the evening, and soaked up the gorgeous weather !

Saturday morning we went to our nephew, Connor's, 3rd birthday party. They had it at a really cool indoor play area and the kids got to be monkeys running around and climbing. Aunt Mel and Uncle Todd loaded them up on sugar (with a little bit of cake possibly ingested) before we headed out. Happy Birthday Connor!
Connor : aka-- Pablo
After the party, we headed to Nanny and PawPaw's. Nanny had 1.5 dozen eggs ready for the kids to dye. The kids were so excited to do this!

PawPaw helping get things started
Waiting is the HARDEST part !

Stirring it up

Ok, so Nanny didn't take them on a 4 wheeler ride, but by the time I realized I forgot to take a pic PawPaw was already inside !

Anniston decided PawPaw R's 4 wheeler was the perfect place to lay out.......in a dress........and in heels !
Thank you Nanny and PawPaw for a fun Saturday afternoon ! We love you !

Ballet

Anniston started ballet back in the fall with her best friend, Nila. They attend class together every week, and are even going to be dancing together in the ballet production in June. These girls are so cute dancing, and Anniston has had alot of fun. We got to take Nila to dance last week since her baby brother was just 1 week old!
Anniston, I know how much you have loved taking ballet (especially since you take it with Nila). We are so proud of you, and can't wait to watch you be a beautiful butterfly in the ballet production in June!

Kindergarten Registration!!

On Monday, we went to Anniston's elementary school that she will attend next year and registered her for kindergarten. She was so excited about it, and we were too! I must admit that I got butterflies as we neared the school. I told Anniston my belly felt silly because I was so excited, and she quickly (with a huge grin on her face) responded that hers was doing the same thing! Here's our sweet girl in front of her elementary school!
We went inside and started to fill out the mounds of paperwork. Dadoo joined us about 15 minutes later (after he dropped off T-man at preschool). Once the paperwork was filled out, the nurse checked everything to make sure she was good to go. We got the thumbs up! We then signed her up for her Kindergarten screening mid-May, then we were taken on a tour of the school.

Dadoo and his princess:
We toured the 5 kindergarten classrooms, the art room, the cafeteria, the music room, library, computer lab, and peeked at the playground. Anniston stated right then and there that she was ready to start kindergarten today! Sweet thing is so ready to be in big girl school!

Mommy and her little angel:
Anniston, we are so excited for you to start kindergarten! You are such a sweet and loving little girl. You always want to give us hugs and kisses at the most random times (middle of a meal, during a movie, etc.) because you say, "just because I love you so much". My heart is just bursting with love for you, and I am so anxious to see the path that God leads you on. You are an amazing little girl, and I know that He has amazing plans for you!

We love you so much,
Mommy and Dadoo

Happy Birthday Aunt Leah!

Wow, is it possible that this is the 7th birthday we've watched go by without you being here? Let me tell you, this birthday doesn't get easier each year it rolls around. We are constantly telling Anniston and Treyson stories about you--of course they're mostly funny, and we can't wait to share even more with them as they get older ;)---Hoffbrau, Grubs, Las Vegas, and the list goes on and on and on!

We sang Happy Birthday to you this evening. We said a very special birthday prayer for you too. The kids tell us a lot that they've already met you. Their way of comprehending a mommy getting a baby is that God sends them down from heaven if you pray for them. They both are convinced that they met you in heaven before God decided it was time for Jerry and I to have them. I refuse to ever tell them otherwise....(well, ok--maybe when they're thinking they want to date!)

Anniston woke up with two new freckles on her 1/2 birthday this year. She quickly looked at them in the mirror and said, "Well, one of them must be from Aunt Leah, and the other is from PePaPa (Amy's grandfather)". Freckles are angel kisses, and she just knows that two of the angels who love her the most are you two!

You know, your last words you ever spoke to me were "Just wait, this will be you in a year". Those words were said to me as I was walking out of the hospital for what I would have never known would be the last time I saw you conscious. You kept joking to me that I was next (having a baby). I kept adamantly refusing that Jerry and I would be waiting two more years. Jerry and I know without a doubt that you totally talked God into surprising us with the sweetest most precious angel Anniston Leah (6 days shy of 1 year later). Thank you.

"just wait, this will be you in a year"........I will never, ever forget those words.........

We love you so much that it makes us cry in a really ugly way--you know, splotchy red face and snot? Yep, that one. But I do know without a doubt that you are watching over us with a smile on your face, holding sweet baby Teddy--and that helps us smile and keep going forward.

Happy Birthday Leah!
