Our snow days

It was a very snowy week 2 weeks ago. It all started on Sunday night. Jerry woke up Monday (I don't work Monday's), peeked outside, got all ready, then told me he was going to start his car. I managed to grumble an "ok" then fall back asleep. Seemed like seconds later, Jerry was back in the room, walked to the closet, and changed into his jammie pants and t-shirt, then got back into bed. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "I don't think I can make it to work." So did we get a fun day at home with the kids? Sort of.

Jerry worked from home. He ate breakfast, snack, lunch, and snack with us (we eat alot). Then he played in the snow with the kids at the end of his work day before the sun went down since they were begging to go outside. Trying to entertain the kids upstairs and in their bedrooms without disturbing Jerry (especially when he was on conference calls) was very interesting. Quite tricky with our blabbering little bubby! He talks non-stop! So once they finally got outside, they built an anorexic snowman....cute, huh? (this was taken a few days later, as you can see by the driveway melting)

Here's a picture of Treyson wandering aimlessly through the snow. The kids just took off and ran through all of the snow and squealed! (can you see how the snow comes halfway up to his knees?)

Then Anniston made snow angels. She was giggling the entire time. I had tripled up EVERYTHING on her, because I knew from the week before that her Dadoo would be throwing her into the snow (and he didn't disappoint this time either). She had a blast, and even though her nose was so bright and red, told me she was not cold and didn't want to come in for dinner.
