Mommy's Birthday!

Mommy celebrated her birthday on Thursday, and it was a super day for me! The kids and Jerry woke me up at 6:15 with pancakes and a burning candle singing, "Happy Birthday". It was the first time I had ever heard Treyson sing all the words (and keep up with everybody else). That was amazing for me! Then we all hung out in our bedroom and ate breakfast!

Dadoo got the kiddos ready while I got ready for work. At lunch Dadoo picked me up for a surprise lunch date! That evening we went to On the Border for a yummy dinner, and came home to a Rick's cake! YUM!

I got so many hugs, kisses, and "happy birthdays" from Jerry and the kids, and that's all I could ever want. Jerry and the kids did get me a towel warmer for my birthday.....I guess Jerry figured that since I love it when he warms my blanket up next to the fireplace, that I'd love a warm towel after a shower.....boy was he right! I've got one other super fantastic present that is scheduled for March 24th! I'm so excited about it, and I'll share more about that later......and no, it's not a tummy tuck! HA! We'll save that for my 40th?? (yeah, right!) The kids made me birthday pictures on Thursday. Anniston was so proud of her picture. She was especially proud that she had smoke coming out of the chimney, and that Mr. Sunshine was happy for me because it was my birthday! She told me this morning that my head looked bigger now that I was older. The sweet part is that she was smiling so big and saying it so sweetly, knowing that I would take it as the biggest compliment!.....so I did!! :)
Treyson worked on some art for me at school yesterday too. Here is a cement mixer (I think) stamp that he did.

I'm still trying to decide what this is....but I love how he carries it outside with him to the car, crinkles it, and then hands it to me with a smile on his face while saying, "Happy Birthday". ALL BOY!!!

The last picture has absolutely nothing to do with my birthday, but it's just a funny comparison of our two kiddos. Each day we get a report telling us how they ate, slept, felt, etc. Then they circle the different centers that they participated in. When Anniston was in the 2 1/2 year old class, "Dramatic Play" (ie: dress up) was circled every day....some days, that was it. Other days, there might be one other center circled. So I can't help but laugh every day when I get Treyson's report. He participates in EVERY SINGLE CENTER, EVERY SINGLE DAY. I absolutely love that about him, and it still cracks me up 5 weeks later!
